Handling Time

Prior to shipment of every order, all our items go through a rigorous inspection in order to ensure that they leave the studio in perfect condition. If any small imperfections or defects are discovered during this process, we recycle the silver and gold, casting them from scratch. Akraft Jewels takes quality assurance very seriously. Depending on the composition, complexity, and production time, of the item, all products are usually shipped between 1-2 weeks.

In India and internationally, we may serve in limited or selected pincodes. Customers are requested to check if the delivery is available to their pincode during checkout.

International Order

Akraft Jewels provides its services worldwide in selected countries.

For International orders, customers have to bear all shipping and handling charges including any duty fee applicable at their destination. Customers living outside of India will be responsible for paying any duties, VAT, taxes, and surcharges that may be charged by their home country or government.

Customers are requested to educate themselves on the issue and make all the necessary inquiries for confirming duties and taxes with local authorities before placing an order on www.akraftJewels.com.

Custom Clearance:

All jewelry shipments exported from India go through the Indian Customs office and need to be cleared by them. Products are filed along with their complete documentation with the authorized officer at the Indian customs office for an examination, inspection, and assessment that are only processed if they pass through everything, before delivering to the shipping address. Hence, please ignore the statement on the delivery package for international orders stating: “Please do not accept if the package is received in Open/ Tampered condition”. The international customer will receive a package sealed with a label mentioning “Opened for Customs”.

NOTE: In the case of all International orders, the customers are liable for paying the shipping charges. Any taxes or custom duty fees levied by the destination country also needs to be borne by the customer.

Please note that the consignments will be on DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis.

Delivery Time for International Orders: 

For most countries outside of India, our delivery time varies between 7-21 days depending on the location provided the delivery is not delayed due to custom assessment, governmental authority directive, or because of involvement of any third party entity acting as per government direction or on government's behalf.
In the unlikely event, that we fail to deliver the order within the stipulated period, we will either inform the customer about the situation or shall cancel their order and notify them regarding the same. In such cases, the refund will be initiated in the payment source.
We partner with only reputed courier agencies for ensuring that the order(s) reach the customers promptly and in perfect condition. For ensuring that the delivery is received by the recipient – we ask our courier partners to verify the customer via identity proof:

Note: 

All our terms and conditions, Return, Exchange, Warranty, Privacy, and other policies listed on the website apply to domestic as well as international customers.

If an international customer wants to return an order, the return shipping cost will be borne by them. And the customers will have to make the arrangements for the return.
